The annual Valentine’s Ball for Cystic Fibrosis was back with a bang this year following its cancellation due to Covid-19 last year.
And organiser Jillian McNulty was thrilled with the support for this year’s event, particularly the generosity of those who attended, sponsored and donated to the cause.
“I raised €10,614, which is amazing and will go a long way with CF Ireland, the CF ward and the small donation to the nephrology unit in St Vincent’s Hospital,” Jillian told the Longford Leader.
And plans for next year’s ball are already in motion with almost all tickets already sold.
“2023 is going to be phenomenal. I’d urge anyone wanting to come to get in touch ASAP as the way it’s going, there’s going to be a waiting list for both tickets and the hotel,” said Jillian.
