Two women are due to reappear at Longford District Court charged with criminal damage to a vehicle in the carpark of a local supermarket.
Gwen Curley, 3 Knock Manor, Lanesboro, pleaded guilty to using a stanley knife to scrape the parked vehicle, causing over €4,360 worth of damage.
The court was informed that her co-accused, Louise O’Reilly, 21 Knock Manor, Lanesboro, would be entering a plea of not guilty to the same alleged incident.
Man caught speeding in Ballymahon while disqualified is hit with eight year ban
A man who was found to be driving while disqualified after he was caught speeding has been fined €200 for driving without a licence, €350 for driving without insurance and disqualified for eight years.
Garda evidence given in last week’s sitting of Longford District Court revealed that CCTV footage identified two females at the vehicle on April 22, 2021.
