BREAKING: Longford gardaí investigating as two vehicles burned  out in separate incidents last night

Gardaí are investigating two incidents of criminal damage by fire to vehicles in county Longford just two hours apart last night.

The first incident occurred in Parkside estate area of Ballymahon shortly after 1am, November 5, when gardaí responded to reports of a car in flames. Significant damage was caused to the vehicle, which was parked outside a residence at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Longford Garda Station on 043 33 50570.

Separately,  gardaí are investigating a second incident of criminal damage by fire to a van, shortly after 3am at Trumra Road, Granard.

Anyone with information regarding this incident can contact Granard Garda Station 043 66 87660.

Investigates into both incidents are ongoing.
