Gardaí are currently investigating in incident in the Corboy area of Edgeworthstown where a women in her 40s was attacked by a dog.
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon at approximately 1pm.
The woman was taken to Mullingar hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
