Fine art photographer Shelley Corcoran together with fellow artist, Maria Cribben, whose chosen medium is acrylic paint, will be exhibiting their exhibition 'Blood Sisters' in the Atrium Gallery, Backstage Theatre, Longford.

'Blood Sisters' will be launched next Tuesday, night, February 19.

Their work deals with the complex relationships between 'Sisters', not just in the biological sense, but also in the urban slang meaning, of two close females.

These relationships may be rich, having their own rules and rituals and sometimes may not always be pleasant, but always contain many layers.

They explore the construction of identity within these relationships in a contemporary world.
