Localised flooding is possible as band of intense rain makes its way across the county.
Saturday's rain wasn't the last of it, if Cathal Nolan's latest predictions are anything to go by.
In fact, the Midland Weather man a narrow band of "rather intense rain" will gradually cross the country during tonight and into tomorrow, bringing with it the risk of localised flooding and very gusty winds for a brief spell.
"All areas are at risk of experiencing this pulse of very heavy rain, which will initially affect western areas of the country before transferring northeastwards across the country," said Mr Nolan.
"Areas which have experienced flooding over the past weekend should be alert for the possibility of an intensification once more of flooding."
