Stephen Coyle from Granard died suddenly in Ho Chi Minh City on May 24, 2018.
A massive fundraiser for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust in memory of Stephen Coyle Cloughernal and Rathcronan, Granard who was killed in a tragic accident in Vietnam in May of this year will take place in the north Longford town from November 16-18 next.
Events will take place over the weekend and will coincide with huge fundraising efforts for the same cause in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday, November 17.
In Granard a Pub Quiz will be held on Friday, November 16 in Fay’s at 9pm sharp with Colin Bell from the Trust in attendance on the night.
Other events organised on the Saturday include the Motte climb, talk by local historian Jimmy Donohoe and a tour of the new interpretive centre Knights and Conquests.
Proceedings will conclude on Saturday night with a Jamie Cunningham gig in John V Donoghue’s.
Then on Sunday afternoon at 3pm there will be a Pool Competition in Fay’s Bar kindly sponsored by the Coyle Family. To book a place please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Entry fee is €10.
Meanwhile. the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust aims to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families repatriating the body of loved one that has died overseas in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland.
