Holland & Barrett are set to cap a fine couple of weeks for the local retail industry by branching into Longford
Leading health food retailer, Holland & Barrett is to officially launch its first Longford store next month, the Leader has learned.
The renowned retailer confirmed its plans to expand its Irish presence by reaching agreement with Tesco to introduce a health and wellbeing ‘store in store’ at the grocery giant's existing Longford Shopping Centre store.
It will see the health and wellbeing company carry several of its market leading and most popular vitamins, minerals and herbal supplements.
Signs emblazoned with the eminent Holland & Barrett logo have already gone up in store ahead of its anticipated grand opening in three weeks time.
A company spokesperson confirmed Holland & Barrett had set a date of March 14 next to formally open its new store.
Confirmation of the renowned retailer's impending opening comes hot on the heels of several similarly positive retail announcements including PV's as well as Omniplex's recent acquisition of the town's vacant shopping centre.
