Down Memory Lane in Longford: Trumra residents unite

A minority of householders in Granard's Trumra Road are intimidating other residents in the estate, many of whom are trying to tidy up the area, an official meeting was told last week.

Litter at Trumra has become very bad, with a hind quarter of an animal left in an open area where children play and the perpetrators are known, the Leader has learned. “The whole council chamber knows who the guy is”, a member of a Granard Tidy Town delegation said, “but he intimates everyone around him and he's getting away with it”.
