Jewellery stolen in Lanesboro house robbery

Three rings, including a diamond encrusted engagement ring, were stolen during a robbery  in Lanesboro earlier this week.

The incident took place at Tullyvarane, Lanesboro between 5:30pm and 6:30pm on Monday evening, October 31.

Gardaí believe the culprits gained access to the property  by forcing open a rear window.

Among the items taken included an eternity ring emblazoned with a circle of diamonds, a gold wedding band and a gold engagement ring decorated with two diamonds.
