Cathal Gilbride, Drumlease, Dromahair, Leitrim / Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim

The recent death has occurred of Cathal Gilbride, Drumlease, Dromahair, Leitrim and formerly of Liscarbin, Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim.

Reposing at his home today, Friday October 7, 2016, from 5pm to 9pm. Removal on Saturday October 8 to St. Patrick’s Church, Dromahair for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in Carrowcrin Cemetery.


Paul Greenan, Dublin / Leitrim

The death occurred of Paul Greenan (Dublin) on Tuesday, October 4, formerly Co. Leitrim, peacefully. Devoted husband of Anne, and loving father of John, Nicole, Paul, Anne-Marie and Marie-Claire. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Con and Phil. Rest in peace. Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 8 at 10am in Church of Our Lady, Queen of Peace, Merrion Road, Dublin followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only.


Cecil (Sid ) Kerins, 20 Knocklongford, Mohill, Co Leitrim / Skerries, Dublin

The recent death has occurred on Wednesday October 5, 2016 of Cecil (Sid) Kerins, 20 Knocklongford, Mohill, Co Leitrim and formerly of Skerries, Co Dublin, peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo.

Deeply regretted by his loving son Barry, partner Teresa, grandsons Kal and Dayle, relatives and many friends. Rest In Peace.

Reposing at St Patrick's Hospital mortuary Carrick on Shannon this Saturday, October 8 from 1pm to 3pm. Family time from 3pm, followed by removal to St Patrick's Church Mohill via Hyde Terrace for Funeral Mass at 4.30pm. Interment in the new cemetery, Mohill.


Elizabeth O'Leary (née Killane), Teffia Park, Longford Town, Longford

The recent death occurred on Wednesday, October 5 of Elizabeth O'Leary (née Killane), Teffia Park, Longford town,beloved wife of the late Willie and mother of the late Mary. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Noreen and Denise, son-in-law Mickey, brothers Johnny and Denis (Denny), sisters Nora and Nancy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Aoife, Shannon, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road on Friday, October 7 from 4pm until 6pm with prayers at 5pm. Removal to arrive at St.Mel’s Cathedral for 6.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday at 11am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Longford Hospice c/o Glennon Funeral directors or any family member. House private please.


Maureen Tallon (née Conry), Corbane, Elphin, Roscommon

The recent death occurred on Tuesday, October 4 of Maureen Tallon (née Conry), Corbane, Elphin, Roscommon in Long Island, U.S.A. Predeceased by her husband Bill, her parents Anthony and Tilly and her brothers Paddy and Vincent. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Maureen and Jennifer, son Brian, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, brothers Michaeál (Carlow), Fr Anthony (Brazil), Farrell (Corbane), Fr Austin (Florida), sister Adela (Kells), nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, relatives and friends. Rest In Peace. Funeral on Saturday, October 8 in Long Island, USA.
