Noreen Charles (née Cooney), Chestnut Drive, Mullingar, Co Westmeath / Kells, Meath / Cloone, Co Leitrim

The recent death has occurred on Monday September 26, 2016 of Noreen Charles (Nee Cooney), Chestnut Drive, Mullingar and formerly of Kells, Co. Meath and Cloone, Co Leitrim.

Wife of the late Eugene and survived by her loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister Rita (Canada) and her many friends in Ireland, the UK. the US and Canada. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Shaw's Funeral Home, Bishopsgate Street, Mullingar on Wednesday, September 28, from 4pm until 6pm with removal thereafter to the Cathedral of Christ The King arriving at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning, September 29 at 10am followed by burial in Taughmon Cemetery.


Kathleen Daly (née O'Farrell), Main Street, Ballymahon, Co Longford

The recent death has occurred on Tuesday September 27, 2016 of Kathleen Daly (nee O’Farrell), Main Street, Ballymahon, Co Longford, peacefully at home.

Beloved wife of the late James and loving mother of Thomas, Fergus, Conor and Gerald. She will be sadly missed by her sons, her sister Elsie Maxwell, sister-in-law Lily O'Farrell, daughter-in-law Susan, Maura and Celine, grandchildren Sarah and partner Darren, Rebecca, Elisa, James, Matthew, Simon, Liam and Katie, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace

Reposing at her home on Wednesday September 28  from 3 pm until 5.30 pm. Removal arriving at St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday September 29 at 11am followed by burial in Forgney Cemetery. Family flowers only. House private please.


Rhona Ronan (née Bloomer), Bracklin, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford / Finglas, Dublin

The recent death has occurred on Monday, September 26 of  Rhona Ronan (nee Bloomer), Bracklin, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford/ Finglas, Dublin, peacefully at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin.

Rhona will be sadly missed by her husband Eric, sons Graham and Stephen, brother Stanley Bloomer (Dublin) and sister in-law Irene, daughters in-law Katherine and Izabel, grandchildren Robert, Sarah and Lucas, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Resting at Connell's Funeral Chapel, Church Street, Longford on Wednesday morning September 28 from 11.30am until 2pm, followed with Funeral Service at 2.30pm in St John's Church, Edgeworthstown with cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 5pm. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Research, in the care of Connell Funeral Directors or any family member. House private please.
