Longford Leader: Local death notices

Rhona Ronan (née Bloomer), Bracklin, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford / Finglas, Dublin

The recent death has occurred on Monday, September 26 of  Rhona Ronan (nee Bloomer), Bracklin, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford/ Finglas, Dublin, peacefully at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin.

Rhona will be sadly missed by her husband Eric, sons Graham and Stephen, brother Stanley Bloomer (Dublin) and sister in-law Irene, daughters in-law Katherine and Izabel, grandchildren Robert, Sarah and Lucas, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Resting at Connell's Funeral Chapel, Church Street, Longford on Wednesday morning September 28 from 11.30am until 2pm, followed with Funeral Service at 2.30pm in St John's Church, Edgeworthstown with cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 5pm. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Research, in the care of Connell Funeral Directors or any family member. House private please.

 

Mary Jo Smith , Rathmore (River), Aughnacliffe, Co Longford and Palmerstown, Dublin

The recent death has occurred on Sunday September 25, 2016 of Mary Jo Smith, Rathmore (River), Aughnacliffe, Co Longford and Palmerstown, Dublin, in Cherry Orchard Hospital, Dublin.

Sister of the late Susan; deeply regretted by her sisters Madge, Anna, Bridge and Rosetta and brother Francis.

Remains reposing at Connell's Funeral Chapel, Church Street, Longford this Tuesday evening September 27 from 6.30 to 8.30pm. Removal to St Colmcille's Church, Aughnacliffe (via Rathmore)  on Wednesday morning September 28 for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
