Shaun Whiter charity shoot in Granard/Abbeylara grounds

The Shaun Whiter annual charity shoot takes place at the  Granard/Abbeylara Shooting Grounds this Sunday, September 25 from 11am, with the last card at 3.30pm.

Cash prizes on each stand and high gun prize with 50% pay out. Everyone is welcome, and for more information contact Kevin McLoughlin at 086 837 6419.

On the evening of July 1 earlier this year, in Newmarket, UK, 27-year-old Shaun went out to help his friend change a flat tyre. Whilst doing so a car drove into him, leaving Shaun and his friend in a critical condition.

Shaun is alive only because he is an incredibly fit young man however he had to have both legs amputated during emergency surgery to save his life.

Shaun is going to need lots of equipment and aftercare in the coming months and years and his family and friends want to support him and his fiancé Charlotte and make the transition as easy as possible for them.

Shaun’s grandparents, Eamonn and Madge McLoughlin still reside in Rathmore, Aughnacliffe.
