Gardaí renew appeal for missing Longford man

Gardaí involved in the search for missing Longford man Michael Sheridan have urged the public to come forward if they have any information, “no matter how small or how insignificant”.

The 36-year-old was last seen on July 21 in the Ferefad area of Longford, having just returned from working in England.

Michael is described as being 5’10 to 5’11, average build and with short greying hair. When last seen he was wearing grey/green jeans, a navy/blue top and Adidas runners.

“There have been searches and numerous enquiries launched but we haven’t had any success to date,” said a spokesperson for Longford Gardaí.

The spokesperson also said that the Gardaí would greatly appreciate any help the public can offer in finding Mr Sheridan, adding that anyone with any information should get in touch with the Gardaí.

Anyone who has seen Michael or who can assist in locating him is asked to contact Longford Garda Station on (043) 3350570, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
