Longford District Court: Men charged with sexual assault

Two men appeared at last week’s sitting of Longford District Court charged in connection with the rape and sexual assault of one male and three females on dates between 2001 and 2010.

Mr Connellan then requested that the defendants be sent forward for trial to the current sittings of the Central Criminal Court in Dublin.

Judge Hughes subsequently issued the defendants with the alibi warning and remanded them on continuing bail.
