Change of venue for this Sunday's Longford Agricultural Show

The venue for the Longford Agricultural Show and Country Fair on Sunday, July 3,  has been changed to Shroid.

The event will now be held on the lands of George and Noreen Allen, Richardstown, , near Shroid GAA Pitch on the N4 between Longford and Edgeworthstown.

The show-jumping competitions at this year’s show have been cancelled.  However organisers were keen to point that it is business as usual at the show.

Alongside the usual classes for horses, ponies, cattle, sheep, poultry and craft exhibits, this year's show will also provide a wide range of trade stands with exhibitions and demonstrations from a diverse range of people.

Once again the committee is delighted to have the ICA ladies on board.

They will provide food and drink on the day and there will be a seated area to sit and enjoy a cuppa and take in the Show.
