Annaduff based Masonite Ireland has announced that it will create 30 jobs within the next six months with the expansion of production at its facility in Co Leitrim.
“We continue to experience solid growth in our business as the global recovery takes hold in many of our key markets,” a spokesperson for the company said today.
“The new positions will be primarily in production with some jobs also in the support functions. We are excited to be now entering into a phase of growth and creating new jobs and opportunities which will underpin the future of our facility”.
Masonite’s Irish operation began production in July 1997 and products are exported throughout the world. The firm currently employs 143 staff. Masonite Ireland is part of Masonite International Corporation, a leading global designer and manufacturer of interior and exterior doors for the residential and the non-residential building construction markets.
