Have a cuppa to raise funds for Alzheimer's Tea Day

There are 450 people living with dementia in Longford- a figure set to double in a generation.

Services provided by the Co Longford branch of The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland (ASI) are a vital lifeline for people living with dementia and the annual Alzheimer’s Tea Day, which takes place on May 5, is its biggest fundraiser.

The people of Longford are now being urged to get involved.

All monies raised locally stay local and support Alzheimer services in Longford which include day care, home care and respite care. For more information or to register for Alzheimer’s Tea Day fundraising packs, visit www.teaday.ie or call 1800 719 820.
