Comedian Jarlath Regan stopped by Granard's St Vincent de Paul shop to view the impressive window display created in honour of his Irish Mammy comedy sketches.

The display, which was designed by Pamela Brady, contained two fashion mannequins with Jarlath's famous Irish Mammy quotes pinned to the clothes. 

Some of the classics featured on the display include, "Has your father seen you in that rigout?!", "She's looking very glam. For once." 

       

According to SVP Granard, Jarlath called by the shop to thank Pamela for her work on the display and promised to mention it on his podcast.

Jarlath was in town on Friday for the hugely popular Granard Booktown Festival where he was scheduled to take to the stage for the headline event that evening.
