A very special Neighbour’s Day will take place on the award winning St Michael’s Road in Longford town this Thursday, April 21 to bring together residents of the estate in a celebration of the 1916 rising.

The event is taking place in Harmony House, St Michael’s Road between 7.30 and 9.30pm, and anyone seeking information should contact Patricia Treacy, Housing Officer 087 7387293.

Redeveloped by the Clúid Housing Association, St Michael's Road was officially opened back in 2013 when it was transformed from a dilapidated, tired and deeply problematic street into a sustainable, comfortable, secure, and pleasant environment.
