GAA Inter-Firms: Longford Gardaí’s All-Ireland semi-final rescheduled amid fuel crisis

The GAA Inter-Firms All-Ireland semi-final will now take place on Monday, April 20 at 6.45pm in Drumalee Pitch, Cavan Town. The Roscommon Garda team - comprised of Gardaí from Longford, Roscommon, and Mayo - will face Armagh team, MTM Engineering.

Members of Longford Gardaí on the team: Gerard Mullarkey, Conor Foley, Gerard Clogher, Peter Vesey, Tomás Connaughton, Colin Goldrick, Paddy Fallon, John Hanley, Paddy McGirl, and Keith O’Brien.

Due to the ongoing fuel shortage, the GAA Inter-Firms All-Ireland semi-final has been rescheduled and will now take place on Monday April 20 at 6.45pm in Drumalee Pitch, Cavan Town, it has been confirmed today. 

The semi-final, originally due to take place tomorrow, Monday April 13, will see Connaught champions, the Roscommon Garda team - featuring Gardaí from Longford, Mayo and Roscommon - take on Ulster champions, Armagh’s MTM Engineering.

The Roscommon Garda team who won the Connaught Intermediate final: Colin Goldrick, Sean Peyton, Shane O’Malley, Tomas Connaughton, Darragh Hussey, Thomas Featherston, Ciaran Kerin, Cathal Slattery, Paddy Fallon, Niall Keenan, Paul Mannion, Keith Muldoon, Tiernan Murphy, Gearóid Ennis, Gary Murphy. Subs: Gerard Mullarkey, Paddy McGirl, Keith O’Brien, Lorcan Cassidy, Gerard Clogher, Peter Vesey, and John Hanley.
