Storm Eddie on the horizon? Potential stormy conditions for Longford next week

Wintry conditions set to continue into next week

With Storm Dave having only just left, Met Éireann are now talking of a Storm Eddie potentially arriving next week.

Longford and surrounding counties may indeed be set for stormy conditions from Monday April 13 right though to Sunday April 19 if the forecast comes to pass.

Met Éireann has warned that a low-pressure system may meet a high-pressure system during this period, bringing rain and strong winds from the Atlantic, with occasional settled conditions.

This week however will have mixed conditions and while spells of rain and gusty winds will move in from the Atlantic, calmer conditions are expected for the latter half of the week.
