Tapped out: Reservoir disruption hits parts of Longford

Residents of Esker, Oghill, Bawn, Drumlish and surrounding areas may experience supply disruptions as the work is carried out

Úisce Éireann have warned of "intermittent supply disruptions" occurring in Esker, Oghill, Bawn, Drumlish and surrounding areas in Longford today, Thursday April 2, as they work on rectifying the reservoir interruptions that have been taking place. 

The works on the reservoir are scheduled to continue until 5am tomorrow morning, Friday April 3.

In a separate matter, the Corlea Trackway Visitor Centre in Keenagh will remain closed to the public from 12.30pm today due to a mains water outage.    

The issue is expected to be rectified today and the site will re-open tomorrow morning at 10am.
