Killashee GAA defibrillator stolen

A defibrillator was stolen from Killashee GAA clubhouse over the weekend.

This vital piece of life-saving equipment had been housed inside the clubhouse and had only recently been replaced after a previous defibrillator was thrown in the Royal Canal.

As well as the defibrillator, a number of other items were stolen from the clubhouse including two black drums of diesel and a red can of petrol.

The matter has been reported to gardai.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Longford Gardai at 043-3350570.
