Protect your valuables: Longford Gardaí to offer FREE property marking service

The event will take place on Saturday, March 14 from 12pm - 4pm at St Brigid's, Killashee GAA, N39 HK31

Gardaí

Longford Gardaí are set to hold a free property-marking service in Killashee next Saturday.

People are asked to bring along any item of their property, be it farming equipment or otherwise, and Gardaí will mark it with their Eircode.

A marked item adds another theft barrier as it makes it difficult for stolen items to be resold. Property marking is also an effective method to help Gardaí identify and return stolen items.

This service is completely free, and everyone is welcome to attend with the item they would like to have marked.

The event takes place at St Brigid's, Killashee GAA, N39 HK31, next Saturday March 14 between 12pm and 4pm.
