Longford St Patrick's Day parade

Registration is now open for anyone who would like to take part in Longford Town’s St Patrick’s Day parade.

This year’s parade theme is Amuigh Faoin Speir – Out in the Open, which, as the council says, is about “celebrating community, creativity, and coming together under the open sky.”

Community groups, schools, clubs, performers and businesses are all encouraged to apply, and the closing date for applications is March 6

Registration details and application form can be found on the Local Enterprise Office website.

Please note, in the interest of public safety, only vehicles up to 12metres in length are allowed, and any groups intending to use motorised vehicles in the parade must produce evidence of current motor insurance cover.
