Users of the R198 Drumlish Road face traffic delays throughout the next two weeks as footpath repair works are carried out.

The works will begin today, Monday, February 16, at the Bo Dearg Housing Estate just outside Longford Town, and will take place each day from 8am to 5pm until Friday February 27.

The road will remain open but traffic delays should be expected as there will be a traffic management system in place, namely stop-go signage and/or temporary traffic lights.

Pedestrian management will also be in operation for the duration of the works.
