Meán Scoil Mhuire have appealed to past students to donate their uniforms back to the school.

The Longford town school said they have "identified a need for pre-loved uniforms" and asked that "the Meán Scoil Mhuire school community send in any pre-loved uniforms they would like to donate as soon as possible."

In their call out, the school added, "Uniform items for donation should be washed/clean and of good quality. Items should be placed in a clean, dry plastic bag and left in to reception during school hours."

"Let's do our bit to help the environment by reducing waste, supporting local families and supporting student activities at Meán Scoil Mhuire."
