Amble star Robbie with Tally Ho owner John Duignan, and staff
There was great excitement in the Tally Ho pub in Longford town on Saturday night when Amble star, Robbie Cunningham, dropped in.
Fresh off a run of multiple sold out gigs in Dublin, Robbie - whose girlfriend Kara is from Longford, enjoyed a visit to the New Street based pub, even posing for photos with the owner John Duignan and his staff.
The pictures were posted to the pub Facebook page with the caption, "From multiple sold out 3 Arena gigs, Robbie from @ambleofficial called into us last night. No concert last night though, he had a chance to relax in his "second home". What a year they have had & well deserved. Thanks to our amazing staff who played a blinder last night and all over Christmas"
2026 looks set to be even bigger and busier for Amble, which consists of members Leitrim man Robbie, Longford's own Ross McNerney, and Óisín McCaffrey from Sligo.
In February, the band will be performing throughout Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand before playing various locations in Germany and the UK. Once they wrap up on this side of the water, they will be bringing their music to their American fanbase for the month of July.
