The council have shared important phone numbers and links for Longford people to avail of today

With a status orange weather warning in place for the county until 7pm this evening, Longford County Council has shared a list of important contacts and links for the public to avail of today.     

To report fallen trees or road debris: call Longford Council Out-of-Hours on 1800 211 525

To report fallen wires: stay well clear and immediately report the location to ESB Emergency Services on 1800 372 999

To stay informed on weather updates: Met Éireann post live updates on their website met.ie and on their Facebook and Instagram social media platforms @meteireann

For road related alerts: sign up for MapAlerter for updates on closures or disruptions 

Information on power outages: please visit powercheck.ie for updates 

For updates on water outages: visit water.ie or call Uisce Éireann/Irish Water 24/7 care on 1800 278 278
