Longford County Council has advised motorists of an upcoming week-long road closure at Esker South, between its junctions with Esker Cross and Aughadowry Cross, to facilitate tree felling works.

The temporary closure will begin today, Monday November 24, and will run until this coming Friday, November 28.

The road will be closed each day from 8am until 4pm.

Traffic management measures will be in place for the duration of the works and road users are asked to heed all signs.
