Four guitars that were lovingly restored after being donated to the Reuse and Repair workshop that was held by Longford County Council and Comhairle na nÓg earlier this year, will now be used to help young people learn music.
Liam Doherty of Longford Comhairle na nÓg joined the council’s Climate Action Officer, Gary Brady, to take receipt of the four refurbished guitars on behalf of Music Generation Longford.

The guitars will be used to help support music education for young people across County Longford, beautifully merging sustainability with both music and creativity.

Longford County Council expressed their thanks to everyone who contributed to, and supported, their hugely popular Reuse and Repair event.
