Just some of the damage caused to the property
Exclusive pictures show the extent of the damage caused by thugs in a targeted attack on a house at Longford's Clonbalt Woods.
The incident, Gardaí say, occurred at around 8.20pm yesterday evening (Tuesday October 14).
A car that was parked at the front of the property was also damaged in the attack.
In addition to the front door being kicked in, the lower level windows to the front of the house were also smashed.
There does not appear to have been any damage carried out to the windows at the back of property.
Sources say this is not the first time the house has been the target of thugs.
Longford Gardaí, who were still on site at the property this morning, October 15, have now launched an official investigation into the matter.
