Gardaí investigating two county Longford house burglaries in 48 hours

No arrests have yet been made in relation to either burglary

Longford Gardaí are currently appealing for witnesses in relation to two burglaries that occurred within the space of 48 hours. 

At approximately 9.30pm last Friday, August 29th, Gardaí in the town received a report of a house burglary in Palace Crescent in Longford town.  

A second burglary was reported on Sunday evening, August 31st, in which a house in Edgeworthstown was targeted. This incident is believed to have taken place sometime between 7 and 8pm. 

No arrests have yet been made in relation to either burglary. 

Investigations into both are still ongoing and Gardaí have asked for anyone with information to contact Longford Garda Station on (043) 335 0570
