Lindsay Dann - (Sally Smith)
Lindsay Dann is delighted to be returning to St. Mel's Musical Society this year, playing the part of Cockney girl Sally Smith in the current production of ‘Me And My Girl’, after last appearing in the role of Wednesday in ‘The Addams Family’.
She made her St. Mel's debut as a young Gretl in The Sound of Music, alongside her now husband and past member Christian!
She also played chorus roles in "The King and I" and "Sweet Charity," before securing leading parts as Audrey in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, Adelaide in ‘Guys n Dolls’, Nancy in "Oliver" and our covid-cancelled production of ‘Hairspray’ as Tracey Turnblad.
Lindsay is excited to return to the musical stage after a break to play this most important role. She is mother to her two wonderful boys, Ollie and Levi, who will hopefully be so proud to see mammy on stage for the first time in their eyes!
Featuring such favourite musical numbers as ‘Leaning on a Lamp Post’, ‘The Lambeth Walk’, ‘The Sun Has Got His Hat On’ and the theme song ‘Me And My Girl’, along with other classic tunes, this is a show not to be missed and immediate booking is advised for a seat in the fully tiered venue in St Mel’s College Sports Hall such is the heavy demand for the tickets.
