Longford mourns death of lovely lady who was in her 103rd year

The late Bridget (Bridie) Brady (née Mulligan), Purth, Ballinroey, Dring, Longford

It is with much sadness and regret that we record the death of Mrs Bridie Brady of Ballinroey, Dring which occurred on Monday January 15 in the loving care of her son and daughter in law Michael and Theresa Brady and family and her long term carers in Rathbracken.

Predeceased by her husband Jimmy and daughter Nuala, Bridie was in her 103rd year and she had enjoyed good health up until recently.

A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, neighbour and friend Bridie will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Her remains reposed in Our Lady's Manor Edgeworthstown on Wednesday evening, January 17 and her funeral Mass was celebrated in St Joseph's Church in Purth on Thursday after which she was laid to rest in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery.

We offer sincere sympathy to her sons Michael and Seamus, daughters Cait and Ann, daughters in-law Treasa and Joan, son in-law Brian, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends. Many Thanks to her long term carers Philomena, Nina, Kelly and Marie.

May she rest in peace.
