Longford costume designer Gemma Keenan with the star of new film Cult Killer, Antonio Banderas
A new film, Cult Killer, starring Antonio Banderas, will feature the work of accomplished Longford costume designer Gemma Keenan.
Cult Killer, directed by John Keeyes, is coming out as a limited release this Friday, January 19.
In the film, Banderas plays a private investigator, who along with his partner (Alice Eve) are drawn into a web of intrigue when they start tracking a serial killer targeting a wealthy family with a dark secret.
A versatile costume designer, Gemma’s work has featured in film, television and commercials. Previous films she has worked on include Cocaine Bear (2023), Vikings (2013) and Mr Malcolm's List (2022).
Gemma’s love of fashion began at an early age when instinctively drawn to the richness of vintage clothing and unique, timeless garments. She takes inspiration from all walks of life, harnessing the energy to create designs that are both empowering and expressively distinct.
Over the years, Gemma has worked as an Assistant Costume Designer/Stylist on numerous television commercials for clients such as: Jameson, Lidl, Energia, Vodafone, Littlewoods, Bord Bia, Kerrygold, Allianz and Airtricity.
