Wedding bells rang for Longford parkrun director Kevin Kane, Fostra and his beautiful bride Mairead Quinn, Newtownforbes, on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Kevin and Mairead participate in Longford parkrun at The Mall (Albert Reynolds Peace Park) every weekend and the newly weds are held in very high esteem by their parkrun colleagues.
Kevin and Mairead celebrated their marriage in the company of family, relatives and friends at Lough Rynn Castle.
Kevin has played at every level for Dromard GAA and was part of a very strong and successful team coming up through the ranks, among many other successes, he won 3 in-a-row Under 21 Championships.
Since returning from the UK to pursue his teaching profession, he has also coached a number of teams and set up the hugely successful Longford parkrun, and was also instrumental in developing the new astro turf pitch at St Emer's primary school in Longford town, just to name a few of his accomplishments.
Wishing Kevin and Mairead a lifetime of health, love and happiness together.
