Eleanor Quaine, a 28 year old singer-songwriter and primary school teacher from Carrickboy, Longford has released an original Christmas song.
The song is entitled ‘Spending Time at Christmas’ and was recorded in Vibes Studio in Drumshanbo.
Eleanor explained the meaning behind the song, ‘’I wrote it for people to be able to share a message of togetherness and love at Christmas time.
It reflects on how the best thing about Christmas is spending time with our loved ones and how important it is to let them know how much we appreciate them.
It's also about remembering those who are no longer with us and how they are always in our hearts.”
While this is her debut single Eleanor has plenty of experience performing, these include performing in various local music productions growing up, has performed at the Edgeworthstown Literary Festival, recording backing vocals for Eleanor Shanley, participated in numerous scór and fleadh solo-singing competitions.
She was also a member of an award-winning Acapella group in Dublin. Eleanor has performed with the Irish band ‘Garadice’ on stage.
Eleanor’s song ‘Spending Time at Christmas’ is now available to listen to on all streaming platforms.
