PICTURES | Creative Longford writers launch ‘A Way with Words’

The Longford Community Resources Writer’s Group, launched their collection of poetry, short stories and screenplays, ‘A Way with Words’ last Wednesday, October 4 in the Longford Arms Hotel.

The Longford Community Resources Writer’s Group was formed in 2022 to enable them to share their love of creative writing.

The group is supported by Longford Community Resources clg Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) and SláinteCare Healthy Communities Programme.

The three individual books in the box-set are ‘Window to my Memories’ (Margaret Hayden); ‘The Life and Times of Bernadette Conlon’ (Bernadette Conlon) and ‘A Collection of Screen Plays’ (Timi Owolabi).

The collection was launched by Mary Carleton Reynolds, former Longford County Librarian.
