Congratulations to Susie Hand who was nominated from Longford Community Games for a volunteer award at the National Volunteer Awards held in the Lord Bagenal Inn Hotel, Carlow recently.
Susie works tirelessly as a volunteer in her own area Longford South as area secretary.
She is also PRO for Longford Community Games, a job she does with great dedication promoting county community games events and posting the results and photos on Facebook and in the Longford Leader.
Susie is pictured with National Community Games President Gerry McGuinness and Mayor of Carlow Municipal District Tom O’Neill.
