It was certainly a case of Operation Transformation for one particular Culture Night event in Longford town last Friday, September 22.
A vacant shop on Grafton Court which used to sell computer games was utterly and lovingly transformed into an astonishing creative hub. READ MORE BELOW PHOTO
Craft Master's Café is a vibrant pop up space which showcases some amazing art and craft work by a host of international artists (mostly Ukrainian), now resident locally. Not alone were the items on display but the public were also invited to have a hands on experience.
The opening on Friday night was very well attended and there certainly was a creative buzz in the air.
Most who have visited the Grafton Court event were asking if it could be set up again in the lead up to the festive season. Thankfully, this is now being planned.
The Craft Master's Café will remain open until the end of this week and this welcome local initiative is well worth visiting.
