Meán Scoil Mhuire, Longford staff and students have expressed congratulations to Megan Glennon on her outstanding Leaving Certificate results.
Megan achieved 625 points; the maximum number of points, in her Leaving Certificate exams.
All at Meán Scoil Mhuire wish Megan continued success as she embarks on her study of Global Business in Dublin City University.

Indeed, there was great excitement in the school on August 25, as the Leaving Certificate Class of 2023 arrived to share their results with staff in the dining hall.
The mood was jubilant and celebratory, as once again the students of Meán Scoil Mhuire excelled in the state exam.
The results were outstanding with over 50% of students achieving 400 points and 19 students achieving over 575 points!

August 25 was also a historical day for the school as the first ever Leaving Certificate Applied Class received their results.
Meán Scoil Mhuire would like to wish each and every Leaving Certificate student from the class of 2023 the very best and congratulate and thank them, their parents and the staff for all their hard-work. Go n-éirí libh!

Welcome First Years!
Meán Scoil Mhuire were thrilled to welcome our First Year Class of 2023 to Meán Scoil Mhuire on August 28. Starting in a new school can be daunting, but luckily our students have the support of the outstanding Peer Mentors. Under the guidance of Ms Murphy, the Peer Mentor Programme seeks to ensure that new students to our school are assisted in practical ways, be that advice, directions or simply a friendly face in the corridor.

The Sweet Sound of Music
First and Transition Year students were treated to a wonderful, insightful instrument demonstration on September 6 last. David of Music Generation Longford shared his passion for music and knowledge with the students. A special thanks to Aimee, Tilly and Aileen, all Transition Year students, who performed as part of the demonstration. Thanks also to David for an enjoyable Wednesday treat!

Best Wishes
We would like to wish all members of our school community the very best for the upcoming academic year.
