Longford was prominently represented among the 5,000 plus competitors from all over Ireland and overseas that played, sung or danced for Comhaltas All Ireland titles at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023 in Mullingar. Aoibhinn Ní Loinsigh (Píosaí Ceoil Nuacheaptha / Newly Composed Tunes) of John Dungan CCÉ and Laoise Ní hÁinle (Scéalaíocht 15-18) of Joe Callaghan CCÉ brought home All-Ireland titles, with a number of other Longford representatives featuring in the top three.
