The changeable weather of the weekend did little to dampen the enthusiasm of over 100 walkers who marched across Ardagh Mountain in aid of a good cause. Last August Theresa McDermott Quinn, her family and friends embarked on the first Trek with Theresa, last Saturday they repeated the journey. “We had a fantastic turnout. It started off a bit choppy with the weather in the morning, but it turned into an unbelievable community event. There were so many other events on the day, but it really exceeded our wildest expectations,” Theresa told the Leader.
