Longford County Council and Tom Meskell have been shortlisted for a prestigious Business to Arts Award for the ‘Longford Lights Festival’.
The Business to Arts Awards are Ireland's only celebration of creative partnerships between the business and cultural sectors. The 'Longford Lights Festival' is facing competition from three others in the Best Creativity in the Community category, supported by Irish Life.
The winner will be announced on Tuesday, September 12 at the National Concert Hall.
Over 12,000 patrons enjoyed spectacular displays at the Longford Lights Festival last February in Connolly Barracks.
