Three men accused of affray will have the charges against them dealt with in the Circuit Court.
Shane Cox, Daniel Keane and Liam Mannion were all served with the Book of Evidence against them at last week's District Court sitting.
Liam Mannion (33) was charged with committing an affray by using unlawful violence on November 21, 2021 at Adie Farrell's Pub car park, and of producing a slashook in the course of a dispute.
Daniel Keane (30) of Clonbonny, Lanesboro and Shane Cox (31) of Clonard, Clondra each face an affray charge.
Garda Keith O'Brien gave a declaration to Judge Bernadette Owens of serving the defendants with the Book of Evidence against them. Sergeant Enda Daly indicated that the DPP had consented to have the matter sent forward for trial in Longford Circuit Criminal Court on October 3 next.
Sgt Daly said the State had no objection to the extension of the existing bail conditions in regard to each of the defendants.
In sending the matter forward to the Circuit Court Judge Owens issued each of the defendants with an alibi warning telling them if they wished to provide alibi evidence they must inform the State within 14 days. Legal aid was granted in regard to each of the defendants.
