Lanesboro provided the perfect backdrop last weekend as a large numbers of athletes and members of the public came together for a hugely successful Two Provinces Triathlon.
In what has turned out to be one of the region's most popular sporting events, crowds both young and old lined the streets of the south Longford town for the annual spectacle.
Longford Leader / Longford Live photographer Shelley Corcoran was on hand to capture some of the many happy and tired faces who took part in the gruelling challenge in what was an occasion to remember.
