Minister for Finance Michael McGrath
Michael McGrath TD, will make his first visit to the county as Minister for Finance on Thursday, July 6.
He will begin the day in Co Longford when he addresses a pre-budget breakfast briefing at the Rustic Inn in Abbeyshrule.
The event is open to members of the public and to book a ticket for the event, you can contact 043-33 46620.
Speaking ahead of the visit, Longford / Westmeath Deputy Joe Flaherty said: “I am very pleased that the Minister is coming to Co Longford as he commences works in earnest in Budget 2024.
"There are a number of key issues for the county and I felt it was very important for the Minister to come and see for himself the significance of these requests ahead of finalising the budget.”
